traditional game shows

Traditional Game Shows

We can adapt most game shows that are known from TV, etc. for having a safety theme. There are done low-tech to emphasize the human element and to allow employees to connect deeper with one another. Minute-To-Win-It styled games are also a possibility demonstrating mastery of the issues regarding safety.

trivia nights

Safety is not Trivial - Trivia Nights

Trivia seems a natural way to bond employees and to get them to answer obscure safety issues. More likely we combine some deeper questions about safety along with more industry specific and random questions to keep them guessing. Likewise, we can throw in some Minute-To-Win-It styled games to help demonstrate safety protocols.

escape rooms

Escape Rooms

Part of the game show mentality is the pulling together of a team to overcome a challenge. Nowhere is this more the case than with an escape room. We have options at various levels of difficulty and the ability to randomize certain elements so that information can't be shared between groups. Emphasis can be on adaptability and knowledge of safety protocols. Portability and cost may be an issue depending on a lot of options.

Murder Mysteries

An offshoot of our game shows includes our murder mystery options. This gets individuals or teams competing with one another to try to determine the murderer within their midst. This requires people to work together and to make determinations based on interactions and we can include safety issues as part of the subject matter.

Game shows engage the competitive spirit to enhance safety programs in a variety of industries. THEY improv has entertained over half of the Fortune 500 companies using competitions to enhance education programs and now brings those skills to assist and enhance safety training. With unique programs whose focus is normally entertainment, employees generally pay more attention to our programs and we use that to your advantage. We gain the attention of employees and can then instill more of a culture of safety or even reinforce knowledge as contests.

While we have an extreme number of game show options, including customizing new game shows for your needs, they tend to be in three major categories. These include on stage, activity based, and table based. Each has their own benefits and we are using these pages to provide additional information about how they can help you achieve your goals. We look forward to hearing from you, discussing the variety of options and then accomplishing the event to meet your goals.

For stage based game shows we have a lot of standard television-based shows. This includes the Family Feud, the Match Game, Password, the Newlywed Game, Minute To Win It as well as several others. The choice of program varies based on the size of the group as well as the desired effect. We will discuss your group, your desired outcomes and budget to come up with a program for you.

Activity based game shows include more group activities than a presentation on stage. This includes our Audience Olympiad (where teams send Champions on-stage to compete), Mini-Olympiad (where whole teams compete in activities rotating through activities and competing for points), Scavenger Hunts and a variety of other options.

Table based game shows include a variety of options where each team competes agains a variety of other teams. The standard is a Trivia Night with each table working as a team competing in answering questions and comparing scores against others. This can also be done between facilities allowing different facilities competing against one another.

These programs are available to help with companies in a variety of industries including Oil & Gas, Chemical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Fishing & Maritime, Prisons & Corrections, Military, Contractors, Police and Security. These programs are not a replacement for OSHA and other mandated programs and are simply designed to assist in the creation of a culture of safety. Nothing can replace the will of the company, however, and it can’t be stressed enough that success requires a full commitment on behalf of a company and management to safety protocols at all levels.
