THEY improv started very simply in 2005 but has since expanded into one of the larger and more successful team building companies in the world. We have worked with over half of the Fortune 500, with a much greater concentration of the top 20.

Our Director grew up in Houston and had family in the oil industry. Drills of various types were normal and learned fire safety programs including serving as a volunteer for the fire safety program in his dorm in college.

After college, he went to work for the FAA through Martin Marietta Air Traffic Systems and was exposed to the various safety programs involved and the glaring need for proper training of staff to handle a variety of emergencies.

Over the years he became the CEO of a technology company and oversaw many disaster recovery programs as well as adding a variety of security and safety protocols to heavy equipment in the US and abroad. While other CEOs put out metaphorical fires, he put out an actual fire that threatened equipment and could have cut some employees off from the escape route.

He started THEY improv with the idea of helping charities in a variety of ways and expanded into employee training programs to enhance the corporate culture of safety for any company willing to make the proper dedication.

Other employees of THEY improv, both permanent and contractors, have a variety of experience levels in various industries and many years of experience in training and entertaining people at the same time. Utilization of these skills better enables people to maintain their attention and retain information.

The name THEY is not anacronym. It indicates our fundamental philosophy. Our events are not about us,the events are about what THEY need. With our emphasis on the needs of our clients and their safety, we live with the culture of care that is needed to enhance the safety record of any of our clients.

These programs are available to help with companies in a variety of industries including Oil & Gas, Chemical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Fishing & Maritime, Prisons & Corrections, Military, Contractors, Police and Security. We have worked with over half the Fortune 500, in all 50 states, are registered with the System for Award Management (SAMs) Database for work with the Federal Government as well as with several state governments.

This site was created to inform our clients about our services in this specialty. These programs are not a replacement for OSHA and other mandated programs and are simply designed to assist in the creation of a culture of safety.
